The Grid: Embodied

The Grid: Embodied immerses you in a performance that balances installation, music, and choreography. In the industrial space of Door Open Space in Amsterdam, a twenty-minute dialogue between human and machine unfolds, in which sixteen moving light columns and a dancer create a hypnotic interplay. The Grid: Embodied unleashes the power of movement, transforming the rigid grid of our world into a fluid space — a symbiosis in which you don't get lost but find your own way.

On October 22nd, 2025, The Grid: Embodied is the opening performance of Amsterdam Dance Event, and will be presented here also on October 25th. The project is a collaboration with the audio-visual artists Victor Dissel and Bram van Ravenhorst (aka Blind '92). Performed by Rik Kaijser and costume by Johnny Blood.
