Inked

With Inked, Arno Schuitemaker created a work for the 14 students of Coline in Istres in France.

To begin with an empty page and watch it slowly fill with ink is to witness transformation. Stories, no matter how small, become tangible: what was once invisible leaves a trace, at times indelible. In the intimacy of a handwritten message, or of a tattoo, ink reveals something of our identity: who we are, who we have been, and who we hope to become.
